Govenor Sanford, that was so touching. You are such a caring person exchanging emails and extending your care and consern to a lonely Argentinian woman who has little hope in this dying world. Oh and why not have an affair with her while you are at it? I am outraged that we would even let this man in front of the podium to explain himself. I am tired of seeing politician after politician at the podium appologizing for their roaming lebedo. These are the leaders of the free world and most of all, the leaders of our country. We have elected them because we believe in what they stand for and we believe that they are going to make a difference for America. How can we trust our leaders if they have no self control or self discipline?
Has cheating on your spouse become so main stream that we should just let these things go? Should we just brush this off and say, “Well, it happened again. Whats new?” Maybe the gays should give up on this marriage thing because strait people can’t even get it right.

Governor Sanford, You are so full of it. Your whole speech was BS. Why not just come out and say, “I hooked up with this hot Argentinian Chick and the lay was fantastic. I was getting bored with my wife and needed a little excitement in my life.”

MEXICO CITY, Mexico (CNN) – The United States may have been behind the killing of Neda Agha-Soltan, the 26-year-old Iranian woman whose fatal videotaped shooting Saturday made her a symbol of opposition to the June 12 presidential election results, the country’s ambassador to Mexico said Thursday.

“This death of Neda is very suspicious,” Ambassador Mohammad Hassan Ghadiri said. “My question is, how is it that this Miss Neda is shot from behind, got shot in front of several cameras, and is shot in an area where no significant demonstration was behind held?”

	This is a very graphic and sad video. At first I wasn’t going to post it, but have realized that the world needs to see these things. This young lady died trying to make her country a better place, and in my eyes, she is a martyr. For all of you Americas who take our freedom for granted, just remember this woman. No one is going to jail for her murder. No one is going to trial for her murder. There were no police around trying to help her. These are the sacrifices many people are making in nations all around this world for freedoms that the majority of Americans take for granted. What sacrifices have you made for America lately?

This woman payed the ultimate sacrifice for her country. While standing up for her what she believed in, she was shot dead in the streets of Iran. Is she a martyr? I would say so. Is the US “CIA” behind it? Definitely not. I’m not saying that the CIA isn’t capable of doing something like this or that they wouldn’t do something like this, but the above article goes to show that the Iranian Government is corrupt in many ways and that they will go to great lengths to try and cover up this so called “Rigged” election.

Racism is always a very touchy subject and for good reasons. I titled this post “Racism is Still Alive” because it is, just not the way that it was 20, 30, 40 years ago. I think however, that racism is dying and that for the most part everyone wants to love one another. The problem is, racism gives many people something to blame all of lifes problems on. If it is easy to blame racism for your problems, why let it die? The point I am trying to make is that racism is still alive mainly because minorities keep it alive.

Now get pissed off if you want, but I have seen it first hand. Look at most the black comedians. All of their jokes some how come back to them being held back by the white man. Another example, I was in a bar a few nights ago and there was a boxing match on TV. I wasn’t sure who the boxers were, but it was a black man and a white man. I asked the man sitting next to me who was fighting and he said, “I didn’t know, but fuck the white man. White boy is getting his ass beat tonight.” I was furious. I had not antagonized this man in anyway, but he wants to spout off ignorant racists remarks like that, knowing I would be heald responsible for any altercation that occurred due to his remarks, and knowing that I would be considered the racist if I tried to stand up for myself. There are many many more examples of how minorities are keeping racism alive, all you have to do is look. Racism needs to end and it is going to take everyone to defeat it, not just the “White Man”. And don’t get me started on Sexism…

Dick, Haven’t I already written a post about you? This one is about a week or two too late, but I have been kind of busy. I wrote a post titled “Cheney says Obama is Making America Less Safe?“. In this post, I was hacking on good ole Dick for criticizing Obama’s actions towards Gitmo. What I didn’t write about in that post was the complete and total absence of Dick Cheney for 8 years while being the vice president of the United States, then suddenly he comes out of hiding to tell us how the country needs to be ran? Think about how many times you saw him make a speech, or hold a press conference while he was in office? You can probably count them on 1 hand. However, in the last month or two, I have seen him on TV at least 7 different times trying to persuade the American people that we are being lead in the wrong direction.

Where did his new motivation come from? Maybe its because the Republican party is in shambles and needs a new leader after he and his buddy George W. disgraced the American White House with their terroristic tactics and antics to rule the world. After all, his biggest downfall was George W… Now there isn’t much to stop his rise to the top of the Right except for maybe Rush’s rear end.

I don’t think that is the case however. I think he is speaking out now because he can. Dick seems like a very intelligent man, and I get the feeling he didn’t put himself out in the spot light too much at the time because he knew the direction in which the White House and its administration was headed.
Instead he somewhat (as much as you can while being vice president) distanced himself from it all. Why you ask? Wait until our next presidential election. Cheney is going to be the front runner for the republican party. So I guess in a since, my first assumption was on target, but we all know what happens when someone assumes… It makes an ass out of u and me.

Also I thought it was rather amazing that Cheney completely flipped sides on the gay/lesbian marriage. I can’t find a clip for that, but he apparently believes in gay marriage now and said that all people should be free, not just some… Hmmm… He almost sounds like a liberal.

Now if you stay up with my blogs, you will notice that I joke and make outlandish statements occasionally. Now just like the rest of you, I though Rick Perry was off his rocker, but if you think about it, he might be absolutely right when he said that Texas should secede from the Union.

My liberal bias mind doesn’t always lean to the left, hence the name “FlipFlopper”, so just hear me out on this one.

What A Great State

A friend of mine and I were having a discussion about our nation and the lack of desire by the American People to make any drastic changes at a time when change is drastically needed. I will blog more about the conversation that lead up to my conclusion in my next post because I know your are chomping at the bit to ridicule my support for seceding from such a great nation.

Here is the point that friend made:

There are 2 parties running America, Republicans and Democrats. independents/libertarians can run for office, but will never get elected. Of the 300 something million people in America maybe 30 - 35 % of them care enough to try to change the way this country is ran.

Long story short, he pointed out that if America keeps going in the same direction, we are all going to be in a world of hurt before we realize it, and it really is already too late to be able to change the system. There is too much power, greed, and corruption involved.

So if there is no hope, why not start over? Why not live by a once great constitution? Why not change the election process? Why not look at the possibilities of undoing all of the wrongs while incorporating all of the rights?

Texas is a big state with 3 cities among top 10 cities in the United States. The environment is very diverse and Texas has a vast variety of natural resources.

We would not secede because Obama is screwing up, or because Bush drove this nation into the ground. No, we would seccede for the same reason’s our Four Fathers found “this” great nation. We would secede because there is a power that is greater than it’s people. We call it the American Government. If you honestly believe that America is for the people, by the people then you are only fooling yourself.

How is it possible that a President with a national popularity of 35% and less along with a congress of a 17% approval rating not get the boot? How can these people finish their terms? But we will try and kick a president out of office for doing something that you yourself have done.

So why not start over?

I can think of one thing, well actually I didn’t thing of it and it caught me off guard, and that is if Texas secedes, George W. could run for office. Scary… Thank you TopBreakingStories.

Oh… and by the way, if a Democrat hade even whispered the word “Secede” 2,4,6, or 8 years ago, he would have been thrown into a back alley, beat, and framed for murdering a prostitute.

Why did Fox News not cover the live town hall speech that President Obama gave at  Arnold, MO’s town hall for his 100th day in office?

Now Fox being the un-biast news channel that they are, I assumed they would have played at least 5 minutes of the speech on live national television. I was watching the speach on CNN when I decided to see Fox New’s coverage of the speech. Unsuprisingly, there was no such coverage. However, there was a stuffy Right Winged Senator on the show jabbering about something, so I figured I would listen to what he had to say for a while. Obviously it must be more important than what the President of the United States of America has to say right? Well, I was right. While all of you were listening to some meaningless 100th day in office publicity stunt, I was learning that Obama’s first 100 days in office are already showing signs of all the horrible things the Clinton’s did while in office. Yes, Hillary was mentioned too. The Trillion Dollar spending, talks of downsizing the military, the blow jobs in the oval office… I’m not quite sure they mentioned the last one, but I figured if he is following so closely in Former President Clinton’s foot steps, might as well right?

Well anyway, I was at work so I had to shut off the show for a minute to get a cup of coffee. I work for the government by they way, so that’s pretty much what my day consists of, coffee and news. So I shut it off, go get my cup of coffee (I was rather liberal with the cream but kind of conservative on the sugar), and I go back to watch the rest of this history lesson that was being given on Fox News. Fortunately for me, I get back to my chair and realized that I had missed the rest of the lesson, but was lucky enough to see some guy standing in a pig pin with several large hogs talking about the swine flu. Now I’m not taking this swine flu thing lightly, but come on man… The President of the United States of America is giving a speech and Fox News  has some idiot standing in the middle of a pig pin while the news anchor at the studio can only talk about how she can actually hear the pigs snorting. She thought it was the greatest thing in the world. She was so amazed and humored that she could actually hear the nasty animals. So at this point, I realized that I am the idiot because I am the one watching this shit, so I promptly turned the channel back to CNN so that I could listen to how Obama is going to run this country like Clinton did so we can get back on our feet after 8 years of shame and embarrassment.

So while all you Fox News guys/gals want to sit around and Clinton Bash like you did the last 8 years, the rest of the educated, mindful people of America will listen to what the President of the United States is saying and come to our own conclusions about how he is running this government. We don’t need Bill 0′Reilly’s spin on things.

On a little more serious side, the republicans are still at it. The scare tactics they used for the last 5 to 8 years obviously does not have the effect that it once had on the American people. I beleieve, as well as the majority of the voters, that Obama is on the right track to get America back to where we need to be.

This is the 6th largest amount to be raked in by the scumbags in the history of Wall Street! People of America, don’t you realize that this is our money that these thieves are looting? America and the American People will be paying off this Bailout Money “700 + Billion Dollars” for years and years and years. While the average “Joe The Plumber” (How average was the guy? He owned his own plumbing business.) is making an honest living and paying honest taxes, These rat bastards are giving them selves bonuses for mistakes that helped to get into this mess? This is unacceptable. This has gone on long enough.
President Obama showed America a great deal about who he is, and about his character by scolding the 18.4 Billion Dollars in bonuses. Most of the country already could tell this about him, but I’m sure there were 1 or 2 McCain/Bush/Bulldog Hockey Mom fans out there who raised an eyebrow and thought to themselves, “This man might actually do a great job in office.” Lol, who am I fooling?Anyway, my point is that when Bush was in office we got attacked on 9-11 and his kill ‘em all and let God sort ‘em out attitude only hurt the country worse than if we had just sat on our hands. Now I’m not saying we should have sat on our hands by any means. All I’m saying is that any President that was in office at the time would have handled the event the same way, minus the exception of Iraq of course. All I heard during the election year 2004 was about how well Bush handled 9-11.  “He really stood up for America.” Or “He’s not going to back down from our enemies”, and many, many more statements about heroic actions he took after the horrendous event.

Will Obama be remember the same way when his 8 years are up? Will he be remember for how he stood up for us, the American People, against Corporate America when we, the American People, were down and out? Of Couse he won’t.
