100 Days, 8 Years Later, and Fox News is Still at it!

Why did Fox News not cover the live town hall speech that President Obama gave at  Arnold, MO’s town hall for his 100th day in office?

Now Fox being the un-biast news channel that they are, I assumed they would have played at least 5 minutes of the speech on live national television. I was watching the speach on CNN when I decided to see Fox New’s coverage of the speech. Unsuprisingly, there was no such coverage. However, there was a stuffy Right Winged Senator on the show jabbering about something, so I figured I would listen to what he had to say for a while. Obviously it must be more important than what the President of the United States of America has to say right? Well, I was right. While all of you were listening to some meaningless 100th day in office publicity stunt, I was learning that Obama’s first 100 days in office are already showing signs of all the horrible things the Clinton’s did while in office. Yes, Hillary was mentioned too. The Trillion Dollar spending, talks of downsizing the military, the blow jobs in the oval office… I’m not quite sure they mentioned the last one, but I figured if he is following so closely in Former President Clinton’s foot steps, might as well right?

Well anyway, I was at work so I had to shut off the show for a minute to get a cup of coffee. I work for the government by they way, so that’s pretty much what my day consists of, coffee and news. So I shut it off, go get my cup of coffee (I was rather liberal with the cream but kind of conservative on the sugar), and I go back to watch the rest of this history lesson that was being given on Fox News. Fortunately for me, I get back to my chair and realized that I had missed the rest of the lesson, but was lucky enough to see some guy standing in a pig pin with several large hogs talking about the swine flu. Now I’m not taking this swine flu thing lightly, but come on man… The President of the United States of America is giving a speech and Fox News  has some idiot standing in the middle of a pig pin while the news anchor at the studio can only talk about how she can actually hear the pigs snorting. She thought it was the greatest thing in the world. She was so amazed and humored that she could actually hear the nasty animals. So at this point, I realized that I am the idiot because I am the one watching this shit, so I promptly turned the channel back to CNN so that I could listen to how Obama is going to run this country like Clinton did so we can get back on our feet after 8 years of shame and embarrassment.

So while all you Fox News guys/gals want to sit around and Clinton Bash like you did the last 8 years, the rest of the educated, mindful people of America will listen to what the President of the United States is saying and come to our own conclusions about how he is running this government. We don’t need Bill 0′Reilly’s spin on things.

I would say that with the rest of the media carrying the speech, why should Fox have to? I remember many mainstream snubs when Bush was in office. Why is it ok for the Other networks to “not” carry what they don’t want to carry, and it is bad if Fox does it?

You may not like the messenger, but you really should open the ears and listen to the message. Things are being discussed, and talked about that the Mainstream media is either not wanting to cover, been asked not to cover, or are being pressured not to cover.

Fox doesn’t flow with the mainstream, and when they cover the stories the others won’t, the goal is to demonize them. Try to make it look as if they are bad. If you fall into the Fox Hating mentality, then you are doing what mainstream is trying to convince you is the right thing to do. Why do you think that is?

I think you need to listen to people. Strangers, people you don’t know. Find out what they watch and why. If you stick within the circles you are familiar with, you will hear what you want to hear, and not what is the truth.

Stop thinking Left, and Right. That is the first mistake.

I listen to people and have met plenty of strangers and have long conversations over many different topics with many of these strangers. I have discussed American Politics and Foreign Politics as well as religion and social well being with both Americans and Foreigners. So don’t preach brain washing to me. I make my own relevant decisions and if I can’t, I rely on more than one or two sources of information to make that decision. And How can you say that Fox News is not main stream? That is the most outlandish speculation or assumption anyone could make. Fox News is more mainstream in America than Britany Spears and Pop Music.

This video is HILARIOUS… the saying comes to mind “Do as we say not as we do!”

Comments they were saying… Propagandizing should be illegal.

What a joke. They did it/ have done it for YEARS long before Fox came along. I very vividly remember them NOT carrying Bush speeches. Hubby and I were wanting to watch one one night, and the ONLY channel that was carrying it was Fox. We were SHOCKED! So they purposely snubbed the President of the United States. They hated him from the start and did everything they could to work against him.

You can not like him all you want, but when the President is making a speech, you should carry for the people to see. GOOD GOD they have stumbled over themselves to carry every single speech Obama has put forth, and that is damn near every other day. He has made so many speeches I am tired of him.

ABC, CBS and NBC who have all had very high profile and exclusive access to this white house should be the ones prosecuted!
All the major networks are so in bed with Obama, that they are stumbling over themselves to have the biggest and best love fest show. Like dogs in heat.

It is totally disgusting, and this is why FOX was born in the first place. People saw through their crap many years ago, and were not seeing both sides of news, we only saw what they (mainstream) wanted us to see and hear. If there had not been a need or desire to hear other sides of points of view, then this station would have never come to be, and to become FAR more popular than the old left networks in the first place. They are starting to die, and they are attacking their one and only competition “Fox”.

A major part of American Culture has been fed crap reporting (propoganda) with an agenda for years and they are tired of it. Fox came along and has upset the apple cart. Naturally as shown in “that” video piece, they are going to attack those who don’t follow the straight and narrow and take the views they take. Fox has dared to bring out an apposing point of view, and they will do their best to attack and demonize them because they (the mainstream) have an agenda to push and Fox won’t tow the line.
